The project is situated on 5.9 acres one block from theMain Place Mall and has excellent acess with I-5 Freeway visibility. The project required discretionary entitlements to rezone the propertyfrom office to multifamily. This process included: CEOA studies, general plan amendment, zone change, specific plan, and developmentagreement.
The team worked diligently to gain community and leadership support and obtained City Council approval in January 2020The proiect was designed by Architects Orange and will include a unit mix of mostly studios and one-bedrooms (70%) in a four-storvbuilding utilizing Type-ll wrap construction. Construction drawings are currently being prepared and the total project cost is estimated atS90 million.
