Whisper Ridge is a resort community land development in Orville, CA. The project is located 1-hour north of Sacramento in Butte County, CA. The site consists of 1,300 acres of woodlands and streams situated along the eastern side of Lake Orville. The project was entitled for a 200-key hotel and spa, 800 residential lots and two 18-hole golf courses. The hillside location provides lake views and includes numerous hiking and bike trails. The project required full CEQA studies and the County Board of Supervisors approved the General Plan Amendment and Use Permit in 2013.
